THE REAL CHURCH, STAND UP!
IT'S TIME FOR THE REAL CHURCH TO STAND UP:
The Senior Apostle & God's chosen, ordained Messenger brings a revolution of biblical Christ-faith and Belief Truth. For centuries, the religious leaders and Churches had made their traditions worldly in authority over the Churches, which resulted in many practices contrary to Jesus Christ. The Scripture alone is authoritative for the faith and practice of the Christ Jesus Royal Believers Way Saints. The Bible tells us that God’s Word is true, God-breathed, and complete ( 2 Timothy 3:16 ), and we are warned not to go beyond what is written ( 1 Corinthians 4:6 ). Amen.
( Where are the real, true Church Kingdom of God in Jesus Christ Leaders At? )
The Bible speaks of God's desire to unite all Jesus Christ Believers in Him: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28). Christ came for all races to "create in Himself one new man," and He made no distinction between race, ethnicity, culture or appearance (Ephesians 2:15). Even during His public ministry to the Jews, Jesus went against their racist attitudes. Jesus did not reject anyone who came to Him, not the Samaritan woman whom Jewish culture would have rejected (John 4:1–42), nor the Roman centurion (Matthew 8:5–13). His disciples learned that the Holy Spirit was given to all who put their faith in Jesus, including Samaritans and Gentiles (Acts 8:14-17; 10:44-48). Peter understood that "God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to Him" (Acts 10:34-35). Jesus Christ was a Jew, but He came for both Jews and Gentiles (i.e., all other races). Jesus can unite all believers across all boundaries; He invites outsiders to be part of His family. Ephesians 2:14-19 declares, "But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in Himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. . . . So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God." Jesus Christ was of the human race, and His redemptive work, accomplished through His death on the cross and His resurrection, is offered to all of humanity.
Jesus’ declaration that “a house divided cannot stand” exposes the destructive power of stubborn unbelief. Throughout Israel's history, disunity led to strife and division, from Jacob’s family to the divided kingdoms of Israel and Judah. In the New Testament, the scribes accused Jesus of being possessed by Satan, but Jesus confronted their illogical accusations against Him, illustrating that Satan would never work against his own kingdom. This passage compels us to reflect on our own lives, seeking to expose where we are holding onto misguided beliefs that can lead to spiritual fragmentation. By acknowledging the areas of resistance in our hearts, humbly surrendering to His truth, and walking in unity with God’s Spirit, we can make sure we are not a house divided.
Throughout their history in the Promised Land, the children of Israel struggled with conflict among the tribes. The disunity went back all the way to the patriarch Jacob, who presided over a house divided. The sons of Leah and the sons of Rachel had their share of contention even in Jacob’s lifetime (Genesis 37:1–11).
After Solomon’s reign as king, contention led to the splitting of the nation into the northern and southern kingdoms—both of which were eventually led away into captivity (1 Kings 12; 2 Kings 17; 25).
The northern kingdom is called “Israel” (or sometimes “Ephraim”) in Scripture, and the southern kingdom is called “Judah.”
The famous proverb "a house divided against itself cannot stand" is found in each of the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew 12:22-32; Luke 11:14-23; Mark 3:22-29).
In Mark 3, the scribes accused Jesus of being possessed by Beelzebul, that is, Satan. They said "by the prince of demons he casts out the demons" (Mark 3:22). Jesus responded by saying "How can Satan cast out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand" (Mark 3:23–25). Jesus was saying, essentially, that Satan can't cast himself out. He was pointing out that Satan's goal is to destroy, not to heal; Satan would not cast demons out of a person to promote Jesus, the Son of God, as a powerful and merciful savior and healer. It makes no sense at all for Satan to do this. Jesus exposed their faulty reasoning and unbelief.
It seems that Satan was working to oppose Jesus by having the Jewish leaders accuse Jesus of being possessed. This is consistent with the deceptive nature of Satan, who "disguises himself as an angel of light" (2 Corinthians 11:14)
When Jesus told the scribes that "a house divided against itself cannot stand," he was exposing their stubborn unbelief. It is obvious that Satan doesn't cast out demons; the scribes and Pharisees were just trying to find reasons to hate and oppose Jesus because He posed a threat to their religious system. They depended on their own efforts for salvation, and for that reason, Jesus' message of dependence on God was odious to them. They were trying to find anything—even the ridiculous—that would prove them right and Jesus wrong. The Pharisees were desperate to silence Jesus at any cost. They became irrational and were ready to murder Him. They were the ones exhibiting the works of Satan, while Jesus exhibited the works of God.
The incident in which Jesus pointed out that “a house divided against itself cannot stand” challenges us to examine where we might be resisting God’s truth in our own lives. Like the scribes and Pharisees, we can fall into the trap of stubbornly holding on to our own ways, even when it leads us away from God's purposes. When we rely on our own efforts or cling to misguided beliefs, we risk becoming spiritually divided and ineffective. To align ourselves with Christ, we need to acknowledge the areas of resistance in our hearts, humbly surrender to His guidance, and walk in unity with God’s Spirit. This alignment brings peace and strength, enabling us to stand firm against the enemy's schemes. Amen.
