Always Consult With The Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which with will go: I will guide you with Mine eye God says (Psalm 32:8).
The Holy Spirit can tell you what to do in every situation for you to always win in life. Many are frustrated because they never consult with Jesus Christ on the right steps to take. They'd rather go to their relatives and friends to help them out of trouble. Sadly, those they meet for help only provide them counsel that doesn't work, because it’s based on human reasoning and sense knowledge.
Learn to consult with the Holy Spirit for answers. Ask Jesus for guidance and direction concerning everything you do. When you face challenges that seem insurmountable, call on Jesus, and He'll tell you what to do; He'll give you the strategies to employ. The great men and women we read about in Scriptures understood this truth, which was why they never took a major step until they had consulted with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Joshua, for one, had to rely on the Holy Spirit to tell Him how to take over Jericho: “And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, what says my lord unto his servant? (Joshua 5:13-14).
The Captain of the Lord’s host referred to above is the Holy Spirit. He gave Joshua a strategy no human thinking could have reasoned out. No human mind could have thought of bringing down those monstrous walls of Jericho just by blowing trumpets and having the people shout and praise God. But the Holy Ghost said so and it happened just that way. The Bible says, “By faith the walls of Jericho fell down” (Hebrews 11:30). Joshua’s faith in the Word of the Lord was demonstrated by his obedience.
Learn to trust the Holy Spirit; depend on Him at all times, for He’s with you, in you and for you! He'll teach you, lead you and guide you into victory and triumph in everything you do, if only you'd ask Jesus.
Prayer
Dear Holy Spirit, my joy knows no bounds today knowing that it’s your delight to guide and lead me in the path of victory and success always. I know that I'll never walk in darkness, confusion or uncertainty because you're my light; you're teaching me in the way that I should go, and guiding me with your eye! I love and appreciate you dearly! Amen.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Lord Jesus you told me that it is better to give than to receive. Help me Father to recognize when and where you want me to give on a daily basis. Whether its finance or any other gift; my time, prayer, energy or friendly smile. Help me discover again the life of a giver. Because I am convinced that living is truly giving and giving is truly living! I want to mirror your divine nature and be a giver just as you are. Lead me today to give myself away. Love empties itself of itself. If You spill me, then You can fill me. Brand me with the revelation that it is truly "better to give than to receive!" Amen.
CONFESSION OF THE DAY
Today my confession is that I AM A GIVER. My life is not strife. My living is wrapped up in my giving. As I give out from myself, God can lift me off the shelf. There is no insignificance in giving. Firstly giving makes me Christ like; then makes me relevant to others, makes me valuable for them. Giving causes me to be a problem solver. Therefore I love to be a giver. I hate to be a (self) preservationist! I declare that God will persistently find in me a cheerful giver first too my brothers and sisters in God's Kingdom and then too all others. Amen
