Do U Really Believe This ? 2
Statement of Faith In Jesus Christ :
The Scriptures(Both Old And New Testament In Their Order):
We Believe that the Bible as originally written was verbally and plenary inspired, and is the product of The Holy Spirit-controlled men and therefore, is truth without . We believe the Bible to be the center of true Jesus Believers Love, Unity, Equality and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions shall be tried. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1: 19-21)
The True, and Only One God In Christ Jesus:
We Believe there is One and only One Living and True God, an infinite, Sovereign Spirit in The Body Of Our Lord Jesus Christ and in His Church of Jesus Believers, The Maker and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth; inexpressibly glorious in holiness, and worthy of all possible Honor,PRAISE, Glory confidence, and Love; that in the Unity of the Godhead there are three persons in One: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit in every divine perfection, and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption. (Exodus 20:2-3; 1 Corinthians 8:6; Revelation 4: 11)
God In The Son Jesus Christ:
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who now wears The Father God's Blessed Name. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus perfectly revealed and did the will of God, taking upon Himself human nature with its demands and necessities and identifying Himself completely with mankind yet without sin. He honored the divine law by His personal obedience, and in His substitution death on the cross He made provision for the redemption of men from sin. He was raised from the dead with a glorified body and appeared to His disciples as the person who was with them before His crucifixion. He ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where He is the One Mediator, fully God, fully man, in whose Person is effected the reconciliation between God and man. He will return in power and glory to judge the world and to consummate His redemptive mission. He now dwells in all Jesus Believers as the living and ever present Lord God. (Genesis 18:1.; Psalms 2:7.; 110:1.; Isaiah 7:14; 53; Matthew 1 :18-23; 3:17; 8:29; 11 :27; 14:33; 16:16,27; 17:5; 27; 28:1-6,19; Mark 1: 1; 3: 11; Luke 1 :35; 4:41; 22:70; 24:46; John 1 :1-18,29; 10:30,38; 11 :25-27; 12:44-50; 14:7-11; 16:15-16,28; 17:1-5, 21-22; 20:1-20,28; Acts 1 :9; 2:22-24; 7:55-56; 9:4-5,20; Romans 1 :3-4; 3:23-26; 5:6-21; 8:1-3,34; 10:4; 1 Corinthians 1 :30; 2:2; 8:6; 15:1-8,24-28; 2 Corinthians 5:19-21; 8:9; Galatians 4:4-5; Ephesians 1 :20; 3:11; 4:7-10; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1 :13-22; 2:9; 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; 3:16; Titus 2:13-14; Hebrews 1 :1-3; 4:14-15; 7:14-28; 9:12-15,24-28; 12:2; 13:8; 1 Peter 2:21-25; 3:22; 1 John 1:7-9; 3:2; 4:14-15; 5:9; 2 John 7-9; Revelation 1:13-16; 5:9-14; 12:10-11; 13:8; 19:16).Jesus Christ provided the healing for the whole man; spirit, soul, and body. We also remember the Lord's death in the ordinance of the Lord's Supper. His Blood purchased our salvation and His broken body purchased health and healing for all man.
The Holy Spirit Jesus Says God Is Spirit And We That Worship Him Must Worship His In Spirit And In Truth:
We Believe The Holy Spirit is The Divine Person Of God, Equal In God The Father and God In The Son Jesus Christ and of the same nature; that He was active in the creation; that in His relation to the unbelieving world He restrains the evil one until God's purpose is fulfilled; that He convicts of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; that He bears witness to the truth of the gospel in preaching and testimony; that He is the agent in the new birth; that He seals, gifts, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies, and helps the believer in Christ Jesus. (Genesis 1 :1-3, Hebrews 9:14; Matthew 28:19; John 14:16-17; John 14:26; John 16:3-11).By the Holy Spirits' Indwelling Presence ,the Believer is enabled to live a godly life which manifests the fruit of the Spirit; that a person baptized with the Holy Spirit will speak with new tongues; and that the gifts of the Holy Spirit as enumerated in I Cor. 12-14 should be practiced and manifested in the Church today.
The Fall of Man:
We Believe that man was created in innocence under the laws of his Maker, but by voluntary transgression Adam fell from his sinless and happy estate and all men sinned in him, in consequence of which all men are totally depraved, are partakers of Adam's fallen nature, and are sinners by nature and by conduct; and therefore, are under just condemnation without defense or excuse. (Genesis 3:1-6,24; Romans 1 :18-32; Romans 3:10-19; Romans 5:12-19)
Atonement for Sins:
We Believe that the Salvation for sinners is divinely initiated and wholly of grace through the mediator offices of the Son of God, Who, by the appointment of the Father, freely took upon Him our nature, yet without sin, honored the divine law by His personal obedience, and by His death made a full and vicarious atonement for our sins; that His atonement consisted not in setting us an example by His death as a martyr, but was a voluntary substitution of Himself in the sinner's place, the just dying for the unjust. Christ, our Lord, did bear our sin in His own body on the tree. (Isaiah 53:4-5; Jonah 2:9; Matthew 18:11; John 3:16; Acts 15:11; Romans 3:24-25; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 1 Corinthians 5:21)
The Church Of Jesus Believers:
We Believe in the unity of all true believers in the Church which is the Body of Christ, which was established on the Day of Pentecost, and that all believers, from Pentecost to the Rapture, both Jews and Gentiles, are added to this Church by the baptism of the Holy Spirit of love and grace. We Believe that this Church is a congregation of baptized believers associated by covenant of faith and fellowship of the gospel; observing the ordinances of Christ; governed by His laws, exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word; and that its officers are pastors (bishops and elders) and deacons, whose qualifications, claims and duties are clearly defined in the Scripture. We Believe the true mission of the Church is the faithful witnessing of Christ to all men as we have the opportunity. (Matthew 16:15-19; Acts 20:17-28; 1 Corinthians 12: 11-13; 1 Corinthians 11 :23-29; Ephesians 3: 19-33; 1 Timothy 3: 1-13
•Resurrection;
We Believe In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the saved to everlasting life and the lost to eternal judgment of God in Christ Jesus.
• Water Baptism In God's Name JESUS:
By complete Immersion, into The Name of The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,Which is Jesus Christ our saving Lord, in the likeness of His death, burial, and resurrection and that we should hence forth walk in newness of life. Acts 2:38
