The Holy Spirit is Our Helper and He Empowers To Become Jesus Believers In Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Dear children of the faith, Which is in The Lord Jesus Christ
I'm writing to you about The Mighty Baptism of The Holy Spirit that Jesus promised to every Believer in Jesus Christ. Here are two absolutes:
1. When we were born-again The Holy Spirit came to live inside of us; we drank from the fountain of Living Water who is Jesus Christ.
2. When we are baptized in The Holy Spirit that Living Water comes out of us like a flowing river; The Holy Spirit comes up on us and live in us as Jesus Christ in Spirit.
You could say; Salvation is Jesus Christ in us, but The baptism of The Holy Spirit is Jesus’ life flowing through us and in us as Christ Jesus Believers.
When Paul asked the believers if they had received the Holy Spirit since they believed, they answered, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” (Acts 19:2)... A few verses later we read only those who were baptized in Jesus Blessed Name received The Awesome Holy Ghost as found in Acts 2:38;
“And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.” (Acts 19:6)
Here are some important insights:
* Jesus forbade ministry without the baptism of the Spirit. (Luke 24:49)
* The baptism of the Holy Spirit was the gateway to supernatural ministry. (Mark 16:15-20)
* You don't need to wait for the Holy Spirit to come; He is already here, ready to show up in your life. (Acts 2:38-39)
There are four key words – “baptized”, “fell on”, “poured out on” and “endued” – that really show us what The baptism of The Spirit is all about.
“Baptized”: The word means “immersion” or “burial”, so the baptism of the Holy Spirit is when we are immersed into The Spirit of God into Christ Jesus Himself.
“Fell on”: This word literally means to “embrace”, just like the father fell on the neck of the prodigal son. It can also be translated “press” or “throng”, just like people thronged around Jesus. The baptism of The Spirit is God’s Spirit falling on us by Christ Jesus.
“Poured out on”: It means to be “spilled” or “shed”. Imagine a pitcher of water being poured out on your head.
“Endued”: This means to “be clothed”. You don't put your clothes in you, you put them on you, and the Holy Spirit comes on you like a coat and He, Jesus covers us with His saving blood and Spirit.
All these words give a clear picture. When we are saved The Holy Spirit comes into us, but the baptism of the Holy Spirit is when we come into God’s Spirit, we are immersed into a new, supernatural life in Christ Jesus.
Jesus said, “But you shall receive power when The Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me… to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
When I was first born-again, I loved the Lord Jesus, but I was timid, afraid to speak the name of Jesus. If His name came up in a conversation, I would excuse myself.
Everything changed a couple of years later, when I received the baptism of The Holy Spirit. Suddenly I became bold in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ. I write and share His loving and awesome word everywhere and in everyplace He blesses me to do and share, “The Jesus Believers Ministries”, and make this available to people all over the World. I'm sharing Jesus on the streets, in parks, churches meaning God's people everywhere and in my city Houston, Texas.
John the Baptist prophesied that Jesus would baptize us “with The Holy Spirit and fire” (Math. 3:11), and that fire had now come to my life. The baptism of the Holy Spirit changed everything in me as a Jesus Believer.
I wrote to you a few weeks ago about the Its Time Too See As Jesus Christ Sees Us With The Father Eyes As One And In One The Lord Jesus Christ. Apostle James R Winfree Ministries has shared with many international Jesus Believers around the World and many family members and friends always asking us, “Why do you keep going?” The answer is that the same fire of the Holy Spirit that touched me as a teenager and changed me, is still with me and in me… and that same Spirit and fire are on you and in you as Christ Jesus Believers.
Many refuses to talk about the baptism of The Holy Spirit; they think the topic will cause disunity or turn people off. I have found the opposite, when I speak on the baptism of The Holy Spirit, great numbers of people are saved in the faith and become apart of God's family and His loving blessed Kingdom.
