How We Are Doing Church?

Dear Jesus Believers And Kingdom Visionary Leaders,
With increasing ferocity during the past decade or so, the world has been going through an unusually intense period of transition, including political upheaval, wars and rumors of war, and a stunning transference of wealth from the lower and middle classes to the upper economic echelons even in most of our Churches. These have been times of unparalleled poverty, increasing disease and wickedness in high places. Yet, this is our time--a time when vast opportunities have opened up to expand the Kingdom of light in this world of darkness.
In these perilous times of spiritual sectarianism, sociological despair and ethical disparity, our Lord continues to call to the Church, saying, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations of The Lord Jesus Christ" (Matthew 28:19). Come out from the comfort of padded pews and stained glass windows of men and women built buildings, and come into an atmosphere of obedience to God's Word as the return of the Lord draws near. The Gospel lights shine brighter in the darkest places of our world!
Our Lord's marching orders can be summarized in three powerful commissions. First we MUST never forget the mandate of the Great Commission stated by Jesus in Mark 16:15, that we are to "go into all the world." It is a call to decry the status quo and do. It speaks of the Church as more than a bit player in a chaotic moment in time, or a mere "movement" that comes and goes. We are to be the move of God in the world today. We only glorify the Lord to the degree that we are actually doing His assignment in building up His sheep which are the children of The Most High God in Christ Jesus.
Second, there is the Greater Commission. Jesus added an important condition to "go." As He met with His disciples for the last time before He returned to the Father, He told them, "Wait." For What? For the coming empowerment of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4-5). This is the Greater Commission. Jesus said, "Go." Yet, He knew He was calling these ordinary men to the extraordinary task of sharing His amazing love and awesome grace in the world by making them disciples of Himself. Jesus Christ acknowledged their limitations by telling them that they were not quite ready to go. He told them to wait and He would give something extra to their lives His Holy Spirit: The promise He told them about, His Holy Spirit. When God adds His extra to your ordinary, you have the power to do the extraordinary things in The Blessed Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Last, Jesus gave the Greatest Commission. In Acts 1:8, He said, "You shall receive the power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and in you Church; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." Jesus Christ said that above all we shall "be" witnesses. There it is, the greatest commission:
The tension that the Western Church faces today as we consider what we are to "be" in the world is the unjustifiable distance between being both attractive and authentic. In an attempt to be "attractive," we too often sacrifice authenticity, therefore representing nothing different to a world craving something better. To the other extreme, some of us have become so unrelentingly "authentic" that we drive away a dark and dying world in supporting and investing Kingdom money into men and women made buildings and the real true Church goes lacking and God is Not pleased Ministers of His Church.
At the upcoming new years to come, We plan to challenge all Jesus Believers and Kingdom Leaders in person, by online ministries, phone calls, radio ministry, television and throughout the Apostle James R Winfree Ministries Worldwide, to "Know His Voice" and to go, be and do His commands until all have heard the glorious Gospel of our risen Lord and Christ Jesus Blessings come to all in His Kingdom of Churches. I have been fortunate and blessed to bring a presentation at each of our many online ministries since the beginning of the Apostle James Winfree Sr, Ministries Network .
