Did U Say Thank U?
Ministry Appreciation Season: Do You Appreciate Your Kingdom Servants?
Does your Kingdom servant or minister know you appreciate them? Now’s your chance to let them know: This is the Kingdom Appreciation Season, when Believers are encouraged to give thanks for their Kingdom faithful servants, ministers, and leaders.
It’s easy to take your Kingdom loving and faithful servant for granted, not noticing (or bothering to find out) the amount of work that goes into their everyday ministry. Kingdom servants don't just prepare sermons and lead God's people His Church Yes real true chosen Christ Kingdom servants they visit the sick, counsel the struggling, take the lead point on countless Kingdom ministries, and in many cases manage a staff and tend to the countless little details that keep your lives running smoothly. Not to mention graciously listening to complaints about members or other ministries, the choice of sharing and feeding God's people those who are in need, and try to help all the types of people save and unsaved!
Even when they don't realize it, people place very high expectations on their leaders. And that’s not entirely inappropriate—the Bible also sets the bar very high for people called and chosen to the ministry. Read this quote from our Brother& Pastor and writer A. W. Tozer on the burden of responsibility preachers must bear… and consider what it would be like if these expectations were added to your job description:
“What a great responsibility God has laid upon us preachers of His gospel and teachers of His Word. In that future day when God’s wrath is poured out, how are we going to answer? How am I going to answer? I fear there is much we are doing in The Holy and Blessed Name of the Christ Jesus. His Church is Not wood, hay and stubble destined to be burned up in God’s refining fire. A day is coming when I and my fellow ministers must give account of our stewardship: What kind of a gospel did we preach? Did we make it plain that men and women who are apart from Christ Jesus are lost? Did we counsel them to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ?”, “The Fivefold Ministry: What a Great Responsibility And Gift To The Body Of Jesus Christ!” Yes their are many gifts are working in ministry that needs our love, prayers and support.
Yes, Yes, Yes! That’s a heavy burden for ministers to bear, which is why this Kingdom season is a great time to express your gratitude to, and support for, the preachers here online, facebook as well as other sites and those you know and family home leaders in your life as in husbands and wives. Maybe that means stopping by your Kingdom servants office with love and a word of encouragement, or looking for ways to ease the man or woman of God workload by volunteering at your ministry group, or stepping in to help your Kingdom faithful servants family through a financial or other gifts they can use, or extending extra grace when your Kingdom servants says or does something you don't like LOL you know I have and will at times step on your toes in love LOL..
Commit this Kingdom season to encouraging your loving and faithful servants in some concrete manner please, perhaps with one of those ideas or in some other appropriate way as Christ Holy Spirit leads you. To help you get in the right spirit of giving and sharing in helping all those who serve in Christ Kingdom. Amen Church Amen.
