The Biblical Truth “the Blessed Savior Jesus Genis our only rule for faith and practice” appears in many doctrinal statements. Yes, Jesus Christ is the Word became flesh when God said let there be light, the Word in Genesis was and in Jesus Christ,

He takes on many forms and titles and also Names, stating that in John, in the Beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, Jesus Christ is “ the final Authority,” “the only Infallible rule,” or “the only Certain rule.” This Truth, Jesus is The Way, The Truth, The Light, and The Life for Bible-Believing God's sons and daughters to declare our commitment to Him, our Blessed God, and Savior Jesus Christ...

He is the written Word of God became Man, flesh and our belief, trust, and faith are in Him and Him alone.

The biblical truth that Jesus Christ is the “only rule for faith and practice for us His Churches” He is rooted in the sufficiency of Scripture, as revealed in ( 2 Timothy 3:16–17:)

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the ( servants ), sons and daughters of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

” Because God is sovereign, His Word Jesus Christ is the Absolute Authority in our lives, and by Him, God equips us for His service because Jesus became the Holy Spirit in us.

“Whatever Jesus Christ teaches or commands is of Kingdom Sovereign Authority. . . . The Scriptures of the Old is about the Hebrew people trying to please God by keeping Moses commandments and laws, and New Testaments is to and for the entire world, Jesus came to seek and save those who were and still is lost who need the Savior.

When I say that, '" Jesus Christ is our only rule for faith and practice,” I mean that we hold Him, Jesus Christ, God’s Holy Word, to be our ultimate guide for what we believe (“Faith”) and what we do (“Practice”).

I mean that the Lord Christ Jesus trumps man’s authority, Church traditions, and our own opinions. I mean we will allow nothing that opposes God’s Word in Jesus Christ to dictate our actions or control our thinking. I mean that we agree with our loving heavenly Father in Christ Jesus.

When the Bible clearly reveals a truth, I believe it with all our heart.

When the Bible clearly commands us to do something, we make sure we are doing it. For example, the Bible says that Jesus is coming back again (John 14:3;) ( Revelation 19:11–16 ). Since the Savior Jesus is our “only rule for faith,” we have no choice but to believe that Jesus is returning someday when the true gospel of love and grace alone is shared and preached.

Also, the Bible says that we are to “flee from sexual immorality” ( 1 Corinthians 6:18 ). Since the Bible is our “final authority for practice,” we are free to abstain from immorality (as defined by the Bible).

I believe following the Holy Spirit as my only Rule of Faith and practice is the safest position, theologically. Fidelity to Scripture keeps me from being “tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of false teaching” ( Ephesians 4:14 ).

As the noble Bereans believers taught us ( Acts 17:11 ), all doctrines are to be examined in light of the Bible, and only what conforms to biblical truth should be accepted.

Following the Lord God, Jesus Christ is also the most sensible position, because the Word of God “is eternal; He stands firm in the heavens” ( Psalm 119:89 ), and “the Love of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul.

The Grace of the LORD is trustworthy, making wise the simple” ( Psalm 19:7 ).
So let all of God's sons and daughters in the Lord Jesus Christ keep and put into practice every day of our lives here on earth, love, faith, grace, and forgiveness because practice makes perfect. Amen.
