( Teaching & Preaching Another Gospel & Another, Jesus )

The Judaizers, who were a legalistic Jewish party, tried to combine Christ’s message of salvation within the context of the Mosaic Law. Immature Christians believed their distorted teachings, which demanded more than justification by faith alone. The Bible often warns us of men preaching "another Jesus," "another spirit," and “another gospel.” Much is changing in the religious world about us.

We must be rooted and grounded in biblical principles. There are far too many people standing in the pulpit who are teaching false doctrine. What we’re seeing in the Church today was prophesied more than 50 years ago. This message looks at a portion of that prophecy. The wrong doctrine can sound so good, but it can lead to the person missing heaven if believed.

Apostle Paul warned the Church at Corinth about false teachers who preached "another Jesus". The Gospel Message Needs No Additions. Distorting the Gospel Message is a Serious Offense. We are living in the last of the last days and Satan is pulling out his best shot to defeat the people of God. He is using mockers, those who will belittle the church's primary function are to rescue the perishing.

We must become followers of Jesus Christ as God’s as His earthly and heavenly sons and daughters. our faith and confidence in God through Jesus Christ. It is our position to stand against them and trust in the Lord God Jesus Crist. The lure of false teaching. Many fall for teaching that is false because they just love the flesh of their spiritual leaders more than they love God's biblical truth that is only in the Lord Jesus Christ...and they have not examined the teaching or their fleshly leaders.
Galatians 1:6

I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away from Him who called you by the grace of Christ, and are turning to a different gospel-

The Lure of False Teaching

The Judaizers and most religious leaders today teach

That Jesus Christ plus the Old Testament Laws, Commandments, Covenants, Tithing, Religious building many calls their Churches Homes or Houses of Worship….

Fleshly Circumcision

Dietary laws

Holy Days, Worship only on Sundays in Religious places and buildings.

Implies and teaching that Jesus Christ sacrifice was not enough

Teaching that God is three or three gods

Teaches salvation of works

Teaching that one must be baptized in some of God's titles, such as Father, Son. Holy Ghost, Not recognizing that Jesus Is His New Testament Name.
Good deeds

Acts of Penance

Outdated Sacrifice

Implies that Jesus sacrifice is not enough

Galatians 1:7

Not that there is another gospel, but there are some who are troubling you and want to change the gospel of Christ.

Examples of Other Gospels

1 In the beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.

John 1:1,

Doctrine & Covenants 6:13, Most Religious Leaders

Even Christians Can Be Guilty

Works based faith

Giving according to the law, such as tithing and keeping holy days

Service and support for and to religious buildings

Baptism in the titles of God and not His Name, Jesus!!!

Keeping communion and yet keeping parts of the Old Testament laws and commandments

Anything that requires more than Jesus Christ

Salvation is a gift of God's awesome and amazing grace alone.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift – not from works so that no one can boast.

Galatians 1:8

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel other than what we have preached to you, a curse be on him!

Adding To

God’s Word is given the incompleteness

There is nothing left to add

There is nothing that is meant to be removed

God’s warnings

Revelation 22:18

Carefully obey all the commands Jesus Christ give you under His New Testament, New Covenant of grace. Do not add to them or subtract from them.

Revelation 22:18

And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the prophetic words of this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book.

Galatians 1:9

As we have said before, I now say again: if anyone preaches to you a gospel contrary to what you received, a curse be on him!

Testing the Spirit

Consistency

Verify the consistency with the rest of the Scripture by the Holy Spirit

Acts 17:11

The people here were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica since they welcomed the message with eagerness and examined the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.

Testing the Spirit

Consistency

Verify the consistency with the rest of the Scripture in the Holy Ghost

Acts 17:11

Testing the teaching of all, even me

Begins with the teacher

1 John 4:1

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to determine if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Commitment to the Body of Christ

Lifestyle

Fruit of the Spirit

Fruit in their ministry

Galatians 1:10

For am I now trying to win the favor of people, or God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ.

We must follow and obey the Lord Jesus Christ

The teacher of truth in the Holy Ghost

Guided by the anointing of and direction of the Holy Spirit

Does not base decisions on approval ratings or popularity

Captive to the call

Would give everything

The false teacher

Seeks earthly gain and wealth for their personal families only and leaving you under their family members to lead you,

Seeks power and accolades from other religious leaders and the world.

Are You Examining or Blindly Accepting your religious leaders and their leadership? Here is a sad reality, any one of us, being unprepared to recognize false ideas, might entertain some belief or practice that does not coincide with Jesus' teachings! I have seen us lose many preachers and people from this faith over the years and it saddens me. Matthew 16:18 “And I say also unto you, That you are Peter, and upon this rock, I will build My Church; and the gates of hell shall and will not prevail against it.”

Jesus Christ is the foundation personally considered as God-man and Mediator, on which the Church and every Believer are built; “For there is One God, and One Mediator between God and men, The Man Christ Jesus;” 1 Timothy 2:5 “And for this cause, He is The Mediator of the New Testament, that using death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.” Hebrews 9:15

He is The foundation of the covenant of grace and eternal salvation;

He is the foundation of the faith and hope, peace, joy, and the comfort of all the saints;

He is the foundation of the building of God, that house not made with hands eternal in the heavens, that city which has foundations whose builder and maker is God;

He is the foundation of the doctrine of incarnation; for He is “Emmanuel, God with us.”

He is the foundation of the doctrine of justification by his righteousness; “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” Romans 5:1

He is the foundation of the doctrine of sanctification whereby “…we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18

He is the foundation of the doctrine of pardon by His blood; Yes, On Christ The Solid Rock I Stand, All other ground is Nothing But Sinking Sand!!! Christ Is The Rock I am built on, Amen, Now, What about you?
