“However, the Highest does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says:

‘Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. What house will you build for Me? says the Lord, Or what is the place of My rest?

Acts 17:24
God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.

God's True House And Men False And Fake Houses:
66 Thus says the Lord:

“Heaven is My throne,
And earth is My footstool.
Where is the house that you will build Me?
And where is the place of My rest?

And all those things exist,”
Says the Lord.
“But on this one will I look:
On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit,
And who trembles at My word.

1 Corinthians 2:13-15

13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he is rightly judged by no one.

In 1 Peter 2:5 Apostle Peter tells Jesus' living Church that they are being built up as a spiritual house. He explains that they are individually living stones and together those stones are being made into a house.

By using the word spiritual, Apostle Peter helps Jesus Christ's Believers know he is not talking about a literal, physical house; rather, God is doing something spiritual with God's people, His sons and daughters, not only individually but also in the faith community.

These are not inanimate stones; these stones have life. Together they are being built into a spiritual house. So All the Money, Wealth, and Riches that have been used to build religious buildings, should have been used to bless God's chosen spiritual sons and daughters in the Lord Jesus Christ, you get THIS?

In Romans 8:9 Apostle Paul introduces Christ's biblical truth similar to Elder Peter’s assertion that Believers are being built up as a spiritual house. Apostle Paul explains that the Spirit of Christ ( The Holy Spirit ) lives in every Believer of Christ Jesus.

Elder Paul also illustrates the growth of Christ's Believers together by describing them as a whole building that is being fitted together and growing into a holy temple in the Lord ( Ephesians 2:21 ).

These Spiritual truths are not talking today about human-built religious buildings, Yes, Absolutely, Most Definitely Pastors, Bishops, Elders, and Ministers are wasting and misusing God's people's money, wealth, and riches on sinful idol religious buildings, the building is an under Hebrew Law, Old Testament kind of building and has No important purpose in Christ Jesus and not His living Churches.

The building is a temple living, walking, loving Holy Spirit Body of Believers, ( Ephesians 2:22 ). In the Old Testament, the temple was designed to be that place where God would meet the Hebrew people that were to be built only in the city of Jerusalem.

It was the house of God ( See, for example, the references to the temple as the house of God in 1 and 2 Chronicles ). Apostle Paul explains that this house of God’s possession is the dwelling place of God for the Jewish people under the Law.

Christ Jesus Believers are being built together into a dwelling of God the Holy Spirit Not made with human hands ( Ephesians 2:22 ). Because God is Spirit ( John 4:24, it makes perfect sense that His dwelling would be a spiritual dwelling, and He lives in Believers, His Spiritual born again chosen sons and daughters through the Holy Spirit.

Both Apostle Peter and Apostle Paul are helping us understand some key biblical spiritual truth of our being built up as God's spiritual house. First, we are all recipients of Christ's grace, while we were dead in sins, God made us alive ( Ephesians 2:4–10 ).

Second, because we are all given life by Jesus, we have equality both believing Jews and Gentiles, we are all living stones who have been made alive in Christ by faith, and in whom the Holy Spirit lives.

Third, we have unity because of who God has made us be ( Ephesians 4:3 ). Because He made us alive and He made us be one in the body of Christ both Jews and Gentiles, we have peace with God ( Romans 5:1 ) and with each other again both Jews and Gentiles.

The purpose of our being built up as a spiritual house is to form a collective priesthood that is continually offering spiritual sacrifices to God ( 1 Peter 2:5 ). But what are the sacrifices that this spiritual house, this priesthood, is bringing to God? Peter doesn’t specify beyond his exhortation that believers live holy lives ( 1 Peter 1:14–16 ) and that the sacrifices are spiritual.

Big brother Paul uses the same terminology of “sacrifice” in Romans 12:1, affirming that, because of the mercies of God, believers should present their bodies as a living and holy ( temple ) sacrifice.

How wonderful that we are spiritual beings, given new spiritual life and growing up together into a spiritual dwelling of God, and yet, in His grace God allows us to do things of spiritual value with our physical bodies.

What we do with our bodies matters to God, and we can use those bodies to honor our Creator. In doing that, we can keep our behavior “under Christ's love, mercy and grace” ( 1 Peter 2:12, ).

There is nothing mystical or mysterious about this biblical truth, we are simply designed to use the physical tools God has given us for the purposes for which He has built us.

And when we understand that we are designed as a spiritual house and that God lives in us, then we understand that worshipping God means using our bodies to honor and serve Him in the Lord YAH Jesus Christ. Amen.
