I Cor. 1:18 "The preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, but to us which are saved it is the power of God" (My heart is glad today because Yeshua Yah suffered for me 2,000 years ago so I would not have to suffer. I know many don’t believe that, and as Apostle Paul said, they regard it as foolishness as they are headed for an eternity separated from God. Call it foolishness all you want, but it does not change what Christ has done for us. You can’t deny the impact that God's Son has had on the world. It is God’s method of saving us from the ravaging effects of sin and landing us for all eternity in His eternal homeland. I am going there not because of what I have done but because of what Jesus did for me and my trust in Him as my Saviour.
On Good Friday, it all comes together. It tells us what our faith is all about. It causes us to marvel at what Christ was willing to do for us and how much we owe to Him. You may discount it, and you may call it foolishness. You may not think it will not work for you and deny His power to save you. They said the same thing about cars, planes, computers, and cell phones, yet it did not stop most everyone from having one, and it now being an almost given necessity for everyone.
One day the Sovereign of the Universe will call for a reckoning because of our sins. What you have regarded as foolishness will then be your judgment. You will have turned down the greatest gift you could have had: Your salvation while we glory for all eternity for what He did on our behalf through Christ. Let Jesus come into your life; you can be there with us. Good Friday then will be then the greatest date in your life. The cross will result in the power of God for your salvation. Make it Good Friday today for everyone out there!

14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. In Jesus' Name, In Spirit & Truth. Amen.
