Promises From God’s Word, For Those Battling Sexual Addictions:

Attention this is very important, I'm a National, International Global representative of our Lord Jesus Christ and this is His Ministry, ( So, whether you don't believe or trust or follow me, that's unfortunate on your part, But, I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for all of you who do support me, I'm your Senior God-Ordained Chosen Apostle & Messenger and He sent me to serve all of His spiritual Kingdom sons and daughters in the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ. )

Luke 11:49

Here are some powerful promises from God’s Word formatted nicely that can provide hope for those battling sexual addiction:

“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)

This assures us that sexual temptations are not unique and, more importantly, that God will always provide a way to escape the trial. We can cling to His faithfulness. Study 1Cor 6:9-10).

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
In Christ, we are new creations with reformed identities. The old life of bondage to sexual sins has been conquered through your spiritual rebirth.

“You were taught, concerning your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires…to be made new in the attitude of your minds.” (Ephesians 4:22-23),

God’s Word reminds us to strip off the old ways that sex ensnared us. As we renew our minds, Christ can heal our thought patterns. Study Rev 21:8).

“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age.” (Titus 2:11-12)

Through Christ’s grace, we have the power to reject the ungodly lusts that fueled sexual addictions. His grace enables us to live with self-control.

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13) We can overcome in Christ’s limitless power working within us, not relying on our finite human strength alone.

“No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.” (Isaiah 54:17) The enemy has no victory over us. We can demolish every condemning lie that accuses us of past sexual struggles. Study Rev 22:15).

“He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!'” (Revelation 21:5)
Our God is in the business of continual renewal and transformation. He can revive even the most shattered lives crushed under sexual weight.

Ultimately, our faith rests in the finished work of Christ to break sin’s power: “He bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness” (1 Peter 2:24). His sacrifice enables victory!

Merciful Father, I come before You with a heavy heart, burdened by all those that are the weight of these sexual sins. Lord God let the ones going through this weakness of the flesh acknowledge their transgressions and the pain they have caused You and others. Forgive them, Lord, for falling short of Your glory and for the times they have chosen their own will over Yours. Let them repent of their disobedience and turn away from their sinful ways. Wash your dear children clean with the blood of Jesus and restore them to right standing with You. Help them to extend the same forgiveness to others that You so graciously offer to them.

Fill your loving children with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to live a life that reflects Your love and grace. May Your forgiveness transform your spiritual sons' and daughters' hearts and renew my spirit. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
