When we are listening for Daddy's voice, how can we know that He is the one speaking? First of all, we have something that Gideon and Samuel did not. We have Jesus Christ Holy Spirit and the complete Bible, the inspired word of Daddy, to read, study and meditate on. "All Scripture is Daddy-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Do you have a question about a certain topic or decision in your life? See what the Bible has to say about it. God will never lead you or direct you contrary to what He has taught or promised in His Word (Titus 1:2).
Secondly, to hear Daddy's voice we must recognize it. Jesus said, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27). Those who hear Gods voice are those who belong to Him—those who have been saved by His grace through faith in the Lord Jesus. These are the sheep who hear and recognize His voice. They know Him as their Shepherd and they know His voice. If we are to know Daddy's voice, we must spend time with Him daily.
We hear His voice when we spend time daily in prayer, Bible study, and quiet contemplation of His Word. The more time we spend intimately with Daddy and His Word, the easier it will be to recognize His voice and His leading in our lives. Employees at a bank are trained to recognize counterfeits by studying genuine money so closely that it is easy to spot a fake. We are to be so familiar with Daddy Word, which He has spoken, that when Daddy does speak to us or lead us, it is clear that it is Daddy. Daddy speaks to us so that we may understand truth. While God can speak audibly to people, He speaks primarily through His Word, and sometimes through the Holy Spirit to our consciences, through circumstances, and through other people. By applying what we hear to the truth of Scripture, we can learn to recognize His voice.
Once again we see the prideful delusions of self determination outside the will of God. Do we as Believers, Christians, Saints have the right or the duty to throw off the Kingdom of Jesus Christ that God has placed us in?
The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: He turn it whithersoever He will. Prov 21:1
Wherefore you must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake Rom 13:5
Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. Rom 13:7
The truth of the matter is this. We are formed by Daddy for His Sovereign purposes and our lives are in His Sovereign will. Our duty in life is to submit ourselves wholly to Daddy's will and not our own. When human governments become oppressive and tyrannical it is because God has allowed it. He allows tyranny and oppression because of our own wicked and rebellious hearts. We as Kingdom children should and must pray that Daddy God by Christ Jesus in the Holy Spirit love, power, unity, equality give us His true ministers of the faith who will want to see all of Daddy blessed and loving children together in our Lord's Kingdom and all Believers, Christians, Saints needs are met Jews and Gentiles...This is Daddy perfect will and calling and purpose on all His ministers and children. When we find our government becoming more and more tyrannical we should not seek to overthrow it. We should instead seek repentance before God for the tyranny and oppression within our own hearts. Daddy only gives us the leaders and governments that we deserve. The answer is not rebellion against flesh and blood authorities. Rather we must fight the good fight of faith against the principalities, powers, and spiritual wickedness that have entrenched themselves in the high places of our own hearts.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Eh 6:12
It is our prayer that Christ Jesus Love, Unity, Equality will rise in your heart and with confidence you will posses the purpose and destiny that Daddy has ordained for you and to all Believers, Christians, Saints.
