LET'S GET IT RIGHT IN 2014

UNITY IN JESUS CHRIST ONLY!!! When I looked up UNITY in the Vine's Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words what I found was Together. Seems like UNITY means together. Then when I looked up together in the dictionary it used words like “In or into a single group, mass or place: We gather together, and simultaneously: The bells rang out together, and in harmony or accord: We stand together on this issue. UNITY! This is what Apostle James & Betty R. Winfree Ministries wants to attain in the Body of Christ! Galatians 3:26-29 26 for you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is NEITHER Jew nor Greek, there is NEITHER slave nor free, there is NEITHER male nor female; for you are ALL ONE in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (NKJV) In the Vines Expository Dictionary of Biblical Wards this is what it says about together: ALL alike; equally; ALL at once; ALL together. It, speaks of community in action As the body of Christ we need to be a community in action, gathering together. At times we will met together on the phone, IM, emailing one another, or posting a letter and Lord willing face to face. This is body coming together. What does the Bible say about UNITY? Psalm 133:1-31 1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in UNITY! 2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; 3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. (KJV) 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 12 12 For as the body is ONE, and hath many members, and ALL the members of that ONE body, being many, are ONE body: so also is Christ. 13 For by ONE Spirit are we all baptized into ONE body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been ALL made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For the body is not ONE member, but many. 15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? 18 But now hath God set the members every ONE of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. 19 And if they were ALL ONE member, where were the body? 20 But now are they many members, yet but ONE body. 21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. 22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: 23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. 24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: 25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26 And whether ONE member suffer, ALL the members suffer with it; or ONE member be honoured, ALL the members rejoice with it. 27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. (KJV) This is a good example of how the Body of Christ should be. Each ONE of us has a different part in this body. Some of us are the mouth, the ear, the arms, legs etc…do you know which part of the body you are? Is it important to know? Whichever part of the Body of Christ you are? ONE thing is for sure we need to move in the same direction and not in different directions. Can the feet go a different direction than the legs? How about the arms and hands going in a totally different direction than the legs and feet cause they want to go their own way and do what feels good. Then the head decides it does not want anything to do with the mouth case it is angry at it. And the ears are tired of hearing all of the complaining that the mouth is doing so it is going off by it’s self to do whatever it wants to do. ALL of this sounds like nonsense and so does the Body of Christ with everyone is going in the direction they feel like going. Lets grow up and stop behaving like children wanting our own way. The best way, for us, the Body of Christ is to move in the same direction with the whole body as is found in the Word of God. We discover how God moves, how God does things, what God says and once we get to know this and we wait upon the Lord for direction than He will show us how the Body of Christ should move. There are many different types of churches, but does that mean that we should be going in a different direction as the rest is doing? If we do than we are not in unity. Seems as though the answer to this question is found in the Bible and if we follow it than we will all be going in the same direction. If you believe ONE way and I a different way what has that got to do with the job that we have to do. We need to take care of the Body and make sure that the Body of Christ is taught the Living Word of God, healed, made whole spirit, soul and body. Once we are whole and healthy than we can go out unto the entire world and preach the gospel. How can we preach the gospel to our world if we the Body of Christ are not in UNITY?
