Now That You're Gone Dad... By your son James Winfree Missing you Dad, You told me if nobody else believed in me, you sure did. Wow, tears as I write this today on father's Day! Yes I was born into your life many years ago and I didn't think anything of it. You were daddy and I was one of your many sons or nine boys and Yes got along so well as a family, but I never imagined I'd be missing you dad. We became very close but yet we were so distant at times. The more I got to know you, the more I wanted to be just like you. You always made me think and without you I'd be very different. You have changed me in so many ways because of your trust and faith in me Mr. Otis Winfree. You made me want to wake up in the morning to see what life is going to throw at me each and every day, yes dad because you made it so can I.. As we became very close and we talked at times, you then told me you had to leave. You had to go back home and you couldn't stay anymore here on earth, yes I do remember your words dad. That night I thought about telling you what was within my heart, but I decided not to, but I told Mom, but she said to tell you what the Lord had showed be about you were leaving us here on earth, crying. Your friendship means so much more to me. Yes I wish we could still talk now and then and you are coming back to visit soon, but I can't help but think about you all of the time. Every morning I wake up, during the day, and before I go to sleep you're always on my mind and even in my dreams I see you dad. I wish you knew how strongly I feel and that we your family really do and did love with you daddy. One day I will tell you, but for now I will see you in my dreams and hold you close to my heart.
