WHY SO MANY RELIGIONS?

Ask Yourselves This Important Question, Did Christ, Called For All These Denominations And Religions:

Apostle James R, Winfree, Sr, I Am Mandated By The Lord To Cultivate, Enlighten, Empower, God's Nations Son's And Daughters In His Love. Know this, I'm Not in the Work or Ministry For Any Income, But I am in God's Work and Ministry to hear Him say, Well Done, these are the words I'm waiting to hear.
JESUS SAID, IT IS WRITTEN!!!
Awsome All-Knowing Holy Spirit, You Are Our Only True Biblical Teacher...We Are Here For You Teach Us, In Jesus Great And All-Powerful Name. Amen
To answer this question, we must first differentiate between denominations, and religions, within the body of Christ and non-Christian cults and false denominations and religions. the place you are a member of are examples of Christian denominations and religions.
Non-Holy Spirit-filled and Old Testament Law keepers are examples of cults ( groups claiming to be Christ Believers but denying one or more of the essentials of the Christ Believers faith ). Non-Grace and Non-Loving are entirely separate denominations and religions.
The rise of denominations and religions within the Christ Believing faith can be traced back to the mother Protestant Reformation religion, the denomination to “reform all people” the Roman Catholic Church is the mother of your denomination or religion during the 16th century, out of which four major divisions or traditions of Protestantism would emerge: Lutheran, Reformed, Anabaptist, and Anglican. From these four, other denominations grew over the centuries with most of their very same beliefs and teaching.
The Lutheran denomination was named after Martin Luther and was based on his teachings. The Methodists got their name because their founder, John Wesley, was famous for coming up with “methods” for spiritual growth. Presbyterians are named for their view on church leadership, the Greek word for “elder” is presbyters.
Baptists got their name because they have always emphasized the importance of believers’ baptism in the titles but not His actual Name, Yeshua Jesus ( Acts 2:36-39 ). Each denomination or religion has a slightly different doctrine or emphasis from the others such as you will never read, see, find nowhere in your bibles where any preacher or persons baptized in our heavenly Father titles, the method of baptism is only found and it is written,
In Jesus' Name because the bible truth and biblical fact is God's Name is Yeshua Jesus, the availability of the Lord’s Supper to all or just to those whose testimonies can be verified by church leaders, the sovereignty of God vs. free will in the matter of salvation, the future of Israel and the Church, pre-tribulation vs. post-tribulation rapture, the existence of the “sign” gifts in the modern era, and so on.
The point of these divisions is never Christ as Lord and Savior, but rather honest differences of opinion by ungodly, non-Holy Spirit-filled flawed, preachers seeking to honor God and retain doctrinal purity according to their consciences and their understanding of His Word.
But make no mistake: as believers, we must be of one mind on the essentials of the faith, but beyond that, there is plenty of biblical truths in how Christ Followers should worship in a corporate setting in Spirit and Truth.
This lies is what causes so many different “flavors” of Christianity, and denominationalism. Diversity of people and nations is a good thing, but disunity is not. If two fellowships disagree doctrinally, debate and dialogue over the Word may be called for. This type of “iron sharpening iron” ( Proverbs 27:17 ) is beneficial to all.
If we disagree on style and form, however, it is not God's will for us to remain separate in the Lord God Jesus Christ's spiritual famioly. This separation is not of the Holy Spirit and does not bring us together as one spiritual body in Christ the responsibility of Christ Ministers and Him members are to have love one another ( 1 John 4:11-12 ) and ultimately be united as one in Christ ( John 17:21-22 ).
There seem to be at least two major problems with denominationalism, and religions. First, nowhere in Scripture is there a mandate for denominationalism and religions; on the contrary, the mandate is for union and connectivity with all parts of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thus, the second problem is that history tells us that denominationalism and religions are the result of, or caused by, fleshly sinful conflict and confrontation by power-hungry religious men and women, which leads to division and separation.
Jesus told us that a house divided against itself cannot stand. This general principle can and should be applied to the Church Family. We find an example of this in the Corinthian Church which was struggling with issues of division and separation.
Some thought that they should follow Apostle Paul and those who thought they should follow the teaching of Apostle Apollos, 1 Corinthians 1:12, "What I am saying is this: each of you says, “I’m with Paul,” or “I’m with Apollos,” or “I’m with Cephas,” or “I’m with Christ. Don't this sound just like religious people today, always asking what Church you are a member of or who is your Pastor?”
This alone should tell you what Apostle Paul thought of denominations or anything else that separates and divides the body of our blessed Lord Jesus Christ. But let’s look further; in verse 13, Elder Paul asks very pointed questions, "Is Christ divided? Was it Paul who was crucified for you? Or were you baptized in Paul’s name?” This makes clear how Paul feels. He ( Paul ) is not Christ.
He is not the one crucified, and his message has never been one that divides the Church Family or would lead someone to worship Paul instead of Christ only. Obviously, according to Paul, there is only One Church body and one family of believers, and anything different weakens and destroys God's will, plan, and purposes( Read verse 17 ). He makes this point stronger in ( 3:4 ) by saying that anyone who says they are of Paul or Apollos is carnal just as so many of today's so-called Christians.
Some of the problems we are faced with today as we look at denominationalism and its more recent history:
Denominations are based on disagreements over the interpretation of Scripture. An example would be the meaning and purpose of Old Testament Laws. Is paying Hebrew tithing a requirement for salvation, or was it just for the Law keepers of Hebrews and Priests?. the salvation process is faith in the saving grace of God in Christ!!!.
There are denominations and religions on both sides of this issue. Baptism, its meaning, its truth, who can receive it, etc., has been a central issue in the separation of leaders, members, and fellowships and forming of new denominations and religions, the Lord Himself told Peter that He will build His Church and for His disciples are to baptized in The Name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Study His Holy Word people, please,
( Isaiah 9:6 )
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His Name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace./ ( John 5:43 )
I have come in My Father’s Name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his name, him you will receive./ ( John 14:26 )
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Please understand God's Holy Word, Please!!!.
Disagreements over the interpretation of Scripture are taken personally and become points of contention. This leads to arguments that can and have done much to destroy the witness of the Church of Jesus Christ and are leading many souls to hell very sad to say.
The Church Body should be able to resolve its differences inside the spiritual family, but once again, history tells us that this doesn’t happen. Today the media uses our differences against us to demonstrate that we are not unified in thought or purpose.
Denominations and religions are used by religious men and women out of self-interest. There are denominations and religions today that are in a state of self-destruction as they are being led into apostasy by those who are promoting their agendas.
The value of Christ's unity is found in the ability to share our gifts and resources to promote the Kingdom to a lost world. This runs contrary to divisions caused by denominationalism and religions.
What is a believer to do? Should we ignore denominations and religions? Should we just not support them and worship on our own at home or with others who follow God's word in Jesus Christ? The answer to both questions is Yes!!!. What we should be seeking is a body of believers where the gospel of Christ is preached, where you as an individual can have a personal relationship with the Lord, and where you can be free in biblical ministries that are spreading the gospel and glorifying God and God's ordained leaders are willing to help, support your labor spiritual gifts to Christ body.
The Church is NOT any human-built religious building and it is important, and all believers need to belong to a living loving spiritual biblical body in Jesus Christ that fits the above criteria.
We need relationships that can only be found in the body of believers, we need the support that only God's sons and daughters can offer, and we need to serve God in the community as well as individually, did not Jesus Himself say where there are two or three at He is in their mists?. Pick a Kingdom of God's family based on its relationship to Christ and how well it is serving first each other and their community. Pick a spiritual fellowship where the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers are preaching the gospel without fear and are encouraged to do so, one Pastor, or Bishop alone cannot teach everything God wants you to know and have, you must receive His ministry team.
As believers, there are certain basic doctrines that we must believe, but beyond that, there is falsehood, This is diversity and not disunity. The first allows us to be individuals in Christ; the latter divides and destroys, Jesus said He and His Father are One, and He prayed for God to make us one, One Spirit, One Hope, One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, One God who is The One Father of us, All. Amen.
